In a game for the baseball purist, Kameron Loe(1-0) and Jon Garland(0-1)
squared off in a tense pitching duel, Texas Rangers finally emerged
victorious over Chicago (AL) White Sox, 3 to 1.
Texas had 2 runs cross the plate in the 5th inning. The key at-bat was by Rod
Barajas who silenced US Cellular Field as he bombed a two-run dinger (his 1st
of the season). Francisco Cordero was perfect in relief and gained credit
for his 2nd save.
