Brett Myers dominated striking out 11 San Francisco batters at Citizen's Bank
Park where the Philadelphia Phillies beat the San Francisco Giants 2 to
0.

Myers(5-2) was virtually untouchable. He didn't allow much, just 4 hits and 2
walks in 8 innings seeing his ERA drop from 3.41 to 3.06. Philadelphia had 9
hits overall, while San Francisco had 4.

Billy Wagner recorded the save, his 13th. Brett Tomko(5-5) took the loss.
Myers was pleased with his performance. He noted, 'I had good zip on my
pitches. Just as important, my location was right on. The fans really got
into the game too - that always helps me. Now, if I can only do that again
in my next outing.'
