Tomo Ohka was on top of his game, blanking Philadelphia on just 2 hits and
Russell Branyan ripped 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Milwaukee Brewers beat
the Philadelphia Phillies by a score of 6 to 0.
Branyan had a big evening at the plate. He smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in
the 2nd inning and popped a two-run clout over the fence (his 7th of the
season) in the 4th inning. After the 4th inning, neither team was able to
score.
Ohka(4-5) was credited with the shutout. The loss was charged to Vicente
Padilla(4-3). He served up 4 homeruns in his 4 innings.
'I've been working on a few things in my delivery, and I think I'm hitting a
good groove.' Ohka said after the game. 'I'm ready to start another game
tomorrow!'
