In a good matchup it was the Philadelphia Phillies 6, the Seattle Mariners 4
in 11 innings at SAFECO Field.

The game was deadlocked at 4 after nine full innings. Philadelphia was
victorious in the 11th inning. After an out was recorded, Pat Burrell
initiated the scoring when he smashed a solo-shot out of the park (his 12th
of the season). Ryan Howard came to the plate and hit a single. Jim Thome
then drew a walk. Ramon Martinez came up and he drew a walk to load the
bases. Tomas Perez stepped into the box and delivered a single scoring the
final run of the inning. Philadelphia managed 13 in their victory.

The win went to Robinson Tejeda(2-1) who allowed no runs in 2/3 of an inning.
Tejeda got relief help from Billy Wagner who gained credit for his 18th save.
Shigetoshi Hasegawa(1-3) took the loss in relief. He surrendered 5 hits and
