Saenz had a big day at the plate. He cracked a solo homerun in the 2nd
inning, laced a base-hit in the 3rd inning and smashed a bases-empty

Daniel Cabrera whiffed 13 batters as the Baltimore Orioles destroyed the
Boston Red Sox by a score of 21 to 3 at Camden Yards.

It was a good day for Baltimore thanks to B.J. Surhoff. He smashed a two-run
homer (his 7th of the season) in the 3rd inning, stroked a single bringing in
two baserunners in the 5th inning and delivered a one-base hit knocking in a
run in the 6th inning. Baltimore kept the scorekeepers busy in the 2nd
inning with 5 runs on 5 hits and the 5th inning when they had 7 runs on 5
hits. Baltimore had 21 hits for the night.

Cabrera(9-3) was the winner allowing 3 runs for the game. Matt Clement(4-9)

Minnesota took the lead for good in the 7th inning scoring a single run. Nick
Punto banged out a single. Mauer followed and he drew a walk. Justin
Morneau then drew a walk to load the bases. Torii Hunter struck out, unable
to help the rally. Mike Macdougal then unleashed a wild pitch scoring the
run. Minnesota ended up with 15 hits for the game while Kansas City had 7.
