The Atlanta Braves nipped the Philadelphia Phillies in 12 innings 5 to 4 at
Citizen's Bank Park in a hard fought contest.

The score was knotted at 4 after nine innings. Atlanta ended up winning it in
the 12th inning. After an out was recorded, Rafael Furcal drew a walk.
Marcus Giles next to the plate and he doubled scoring the run. Philadelphia
was set down quietly in the bottom of the 12th.

Kyle Farnsworth(5-4) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 1 and 1/3
innings. Geoff Geary(3-1) took the loss in relief. He allowed 1 run and 1
hit in 3 innings.
