40,313 fans were treated to a fine game at Citizen's Bank Park as only one run
separated the combatants at game's end. The Philadelphia Phillies won by the
slimmest of margins, 4 to 3.

Florida surrendered all of the runs Philadelphia needed in the 2nd inning as
they scored 4 runs on 4 base hits. That scoring would be all that was
needed. Philadelphia banged out 9 on the afternoon.

Randy Wolf(4-3) allowed 2 runs in 6 innings, and picked up the victory. Wolf
got help from Billy Wagner who earned his 23rd save. The losing pitcher was
Brian Moehler(5-9). He pitched 6 innings allowing 7 hits and 1 walk.

'He gutted it out' Charlie Manuel said of Wolf. 'I was very impressed by his
tenacity.'
