Brandon Claussen took a no-hitter into the 7th inning at Great American Bpk as
the Cincinnati Reds beat the Philadelphia Phillies by the count of 8 to
2.

The Cincinnati fans enjoyed the offense provided by Adam Dunn. He doubled in
the 2nd inning, doubled bringing in two baserunners in the 3rd inning and
smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' (his 35th of the season) in the 7th inning.
Cincinnati had just 6 hits for the night.

The win was credited to Claussen(11-7) who went 6 and 2/3 innings allowing no
runs. The left-handed Claussen had his no-hit bid broken up by Jason
Michaels who singled with one out in the 7th inning. Matt Belisle gained
credit for his 6th save. The loss was charged to Gavin Floyd(0-1).
