The amazing Philadelphia Phillies edged the Washington Nationals in 10 innings
at Citizen's Bank Park by the score of 6 to 5.

The score was tied at 5 after nine. Philadelphia came out the victor in the
10th inning. Mike Lieberthal doubled. Ramon Martinez was next and he laid
down a sacrifice bunt. After another out, Michael Tucker stepped up to the
plate and he lined a base-hit resulting in an exciting win for Philadelphia
and a wild post-game celebration by the home town fans. Philadelphia had 13
hits for the game and Washington had 8.

Ugueth Urbina(10-6) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 inning. Livan
Hernandez(10-15) was the loser in relief. He was unable to retire a batter
and surrendered 1 hit and no walks.
