Gary Matthews Jr smacked 2 homeruns as the Texas Rangers defeated the New York
(AL) Yankees by a score of 4 to 2 at Ameriquest Field.

Doug Brocail(1-0) was solid in relief, and he got credit for the win. He went

night.
